CBN Ultra-Refined Isolate

CBN is the non-enzymatic oxidation byproduct of THC, it doesn’t show psychotropic properties but exerts effects as a neuroprotectant, sedative, anti-inflammatory agent, anticonvulsant, proponent of bone formation & healing, chronic pain relief, vasorelaxation, antibacterial, used in burn treatments and psoriasis. CBN has also been identified as the most likely cannabinoid to treat intraocular pressure (glaucoma) due to its neuroprotectant effects.

Our Ultra-Refined CBN isolate comes in an oil-soluble format that is easily mixed with most oils for cooking or topical formulation, can be added or infused with other smokable hemp and cannabis products for a unique infused-pre-roll (IPR) or dabbing experience, and/or formulated with other distillates and terpenes for vape formulations. Always 99%+ potency/purity.

CBN is vastly becoming a huge priority for research firms, consumer goods manufactures, and quality-based educated consumers. Here at the Future Compounds Lab, we are known for producing Isolated Cannabinol (CBN) as the industry standard of quality and purity.

Now, a new study by Salk scientists shows how CBN can protect nerve cells from oxidative damage, a major pathway to cell death. The findings, published online in the journal Free Radical Biology and Medicine, suggest CBN has the potential for treating age-related neurodegenerative diseases, like Alzheimer’s.

“We’ve found that cannabinol protects neurons from oxidative stress and cell death, two of the major contributors to Alzheimer’s,” says senior author Pamela Maher, a research professor, and head of Salk’s Cellular Neurobiology Laboratory. “This discovery could one day lead to the development of new therapeutics for treating this disease and other neurodegenerative disorders, like Parkinson’s disease.”

Previous research by Maher’s lab found that CBN had neuroprotective properties, but it wasn’t clear how it worked. Now, this new study explains the mechanism through which CBN protects brain cells from damage and death.

Also linked below is the amazing Phase 1 Clinical Trial concluded by the InMed research firm. Their research shows promise for CBN to be used a topical cream for treatment of EB, a rare genetic skin disease that effects infants upon birth with painful blisters and epidermis breakages. They are also seeing a great benefit for using CBN to reduce intraocular pressure in patients suffering from Glaucoma.

As more and more research comes out outlining how beneficial and therapeutic these cannabinoids can be, we continue to develop techniques to bring them to market in pure/isolated form and create the next generation of cannabinoid therapeutic products for our quality-based community of educated consumers.
